Home Away From Home Pet Care Facility has served the pets of Logan County and surrounding areas for almost 30 years. Our staff members are passionate about animals and treat every pet like their own! Our individualized personal care ensures that we meet every pet’s special needs, and owners find comfort in knowing their pets are receiving the best care possible while they’re away. Our professional staff includes a Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician, Certified Professional Trainers, Animal Care Specialists and Certified CPRand Pet First Aid Providers.

Our services include boarding, daycare, training, grooming and a retail area with all the essentials for your pet’s boarding and training experience. Whether you’re calling Home Away From Home or popping in to see us, you will most often be greeted by Peggy. After retiring from her role as Manager at an automotive manufacture, Peggy joined the crew at Home Away From Home as the Kennel Manager. In addition to greeting customers and caring for pets, Peggy also keeps our retail area stocked with all of the food, treats and toys that every dog loves. Peggy has an Associates Degree in Secretarial Science and a Cosmetology License. After work, Peggy’s Brittney Spaniel named Maui anxiously awaits her.
Isaac
Kennel Technician/Groomer
After living in several states across the country, Isaac settled here in Ohio near family. With them, they brought experience working with pets gained from their time spent working in rescue, grooming and training organizations. Isaac can often be seen greeting customers for grooming appointments and checking in boarding pets. There is not an animal that Isaac doesn’t love to investigate or learn more about. At home Isaac has a Shiba - Inu named Chai and a cat named Sol.
Drew
Kennel Technician/Groomer
As a kid, Drew attended 4-H training classes at Home Away From Home with her dog Lacey and later came to work with us while still in high school. Drew cares for all of our guests from the moment they arrive until the moment they leave, with a special love for grooming. Drew has a Bachelor of Science degree in Equine Facility Management from Lake Erie College with a concentration in Riding Instruction and certification in Equine Massage Therapy. Drew’s pride and joy are her horses Dream and Jedi as well as her dogs Zoey, Ralphi and Layla and her cats Pennington and Junior.
